We have an opportunity available for a Manager, Digital Ad Ops to join our team. This role will focus on executing the overall strategy and tactics related to campaigns across the full spectrum of digital media: display, video, email, web analytics, SEM, etc. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience managing, troubleshooting, and optimizing digital campaigns aimed at fulfilling client objectives, as well as experience providing custom reporting to clients.
Skills and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Information Systems, Business Intelligence, Computer Sciences, Data Management, or related experience (required)
- Deploy high-volume of monthly digital ad campaigns
- Previous ad ops experience with an advertising/media agency (preferred)
- Demonstrated understanding of digital and ad serving terminology
- Experience troubleshooting internal and external ad server system issues
- Experience monitoring live campaigns for proper serving, viewability, click through action, and conversion
- Knowledge of engagement-based and impression-based campaigns as well as programmatic advertising
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Basic HTML and coding skills in languages such as SQL and Python (preferred)
- Understanding of data warehousing and ETL techniques
- Knowledge of data gathering, cleaning and data transforming techniques
- Reporting and data visualization skills using software like Tableau
- Ability to QA and troubleshoot data
- Inline CSS and table-based HTML experience (preferred)
Experience with:
- Google Ad Manager/Google Campaign Manager (required)
- Making strategic decisions to optimize campaign results
- Google Analytics or equivalent
- Responsive emails for mobile
- ESP (Email service provider) – HubSpot, Ongage, MailChimp, iContact, Constant Contact, etc. (required)
- Building and sending email campaigns from scratch
- Slicing layered Photoshop documents and building HTML
- Experience with basic API integrations
- Drupal (preferred)
- Statistical software
- Targeted email marketing and audience segmentation
- A/B testing
- Must be organized, detail oriented, proactive, self-motivated, and results driven
- Ability to communicate effectively between E-media, sales, and editorial departments
- Valid driver’s license
- Verifiable and consistent work history
