We are searching for an Assistant Marketing Manager to join our team. The role will focus on the strategy and execution of various marketing campaigns related to client projects. Projects will include, but are not limited to, live and virtual event promotion, content marketing to drive website traffic, and branded communication campaigns.
The ideal candidate will be skilled at developing and executing marketing plans and budgets as well as performing data analysis to demonstrate return on marketing investment. We’re looking for a skilled writer, capable of crafting copy for a variety of distribution channels (email, social media, direct mail, web, PR).
Experience in building and nurturing strategic relationships is necessary.
The Assistant Marketing Manager will be responsible for the following:
- Develop marketing plans that meet the goals of client projects.
- Create compelling marketing copy targeted to a wide variety of healthcare segments, for delivery through multiple channels (direct mail, email, web, sales support, video, social, etc.)
- Lead conversations with external clients and internal teams (editorial, sales, art/production, and project management) to ensure strategy is driving integrated marketing campaigns
- Regularly analyze and report on marketing campaign performance, including presenting updates to senior management and clients
- Manage budgets and track project costs throughout a campaign to ensure numbers stay within budget and maintain proactive communication
- Identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships to drive marketing objectives
- Engage audiences and promote content via social media
- Utilize our project management software (Hive) to manage marketing communication efforts, both inbound and outbound
- Other assignments as required by management
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree required (Marketing preferred or related field)
- 1-2 years of experience in integrated marketing
- Healthcare and/or agency experience a plus but not required
- Experience working with marketing automation tools, i.e., HubSpot and On Gage
- Solid understanding of essential elements of marketing (branding, planning, messaging development, PR, web, social, sales support, print and digital advertising, direct mail, video, etc.)
- Market research experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including ability to sell ideas to management and across the organization
- Proven success in writing compelling marketing copy
- Experience managing budgets
- Superb organizational, time management, and customer service skills - you will work with everyone in our organization and their individual styles
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage competing priorities
- Creative problem-solver with demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make recommendations to adapt or modify campaign tactics
- Verifiable and consistent work history
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); as well as CRM/database experience (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license
