Akron, Ohio client is seeking an Executive Assistant for a contract role involving coordinating general office functions and providing multifaceted support to the CHRO. Maintains a complex calendar on a daily basisRole will be onsite 5 days per week, candidates must be local to Akron, OH Responsibilities include:Handling general SAP and ELM administrative workResearching, prioritizing, and following up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the Executive, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature. Determining appropriate course of action, referral, or response.Interacting frequently with Executives, other Stakeholders, and high-profile external visitors; providing high quality service and supportPerforming various general office duties involving record and file maintenance (electronic and hard copy), travel arrangements and expense reporting, scheduling meetings and conference calls, mail distribution, receiving and directing visitors and telephone receptionPreparing correspondence and presentationsDeveloping and maintaining databases and spreadsheetsUsing excellent communication skills with good judgmentAnticipating needs and delivering results consistentlyDemonstrating a solid commitment to all aspects of safety including maintaining a safe workplace for coworkers Qualifications:High school diploma or GED requiredMinimum 10 years work experience required. Previous experience providing support to a senior executive preferred.Must pass company Support and Administrative Selection System (SASS) testProficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
