Hive Co is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager for our client to lead and deliver technology projects across the full project lifecycle. This role will oversee planning, execution, testing, stakeholder communication, and delivery of IT initiatives that support business operations and end users.
About the Role
As an IT Project Manager, you will manage assigned projects from initiation through implementation. You will define project requirements, establish quality standards, build timelines, coordinate across teams, mitigate risks, and ensure smooth progress through each phase of delivery. This position requires strong communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration to keep all stakeholders aligned.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead IT projects through all phases of project management (planning, execution, testing, and delivery).
- Define requirements, timelines, quality standards, and project scope.
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate project activities and ensure deliverables meet expectations.
- Conduct testing oversight, resolve issues, and ensure readiness for next project phases.
- Provide consistent project updates, performance data, and progress reports.
- Manage and approve project changes and maintain strong stakeholder communication.
- Meet regularly with stakeholders to gather feedback and align on needs and expectations.
- Collaborate with technical teams, business partners, and leadership to drive project success.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in IT Project Management leading full-cycle projects.
- Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and Agile project delivery.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including SQL, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Strong analytical, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience working with Azure DevOps and GIT for project tracking and version control.
- Must be a resident of Ohio.
