Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a progress matrix to track document submissions and approvals for equipment, facilities, and processes
- Manage and maintain the on-site document control system using Autodesk Docs
- Ensure all project documentation is accurately filed, organized, and easily retrievable
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely submission, review, and approval of documents
- Review and verify the accuracy and completeness of documents before submission
- Provide training and support to team members on document control processes and the use of Autodesk Docs
- Generate regular reports on document control activities, status, and progress
- Ensure compliance with company and project-specific document control procedures and standards
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of project documentation to relevant stakeholders
- Perform regular audits of the document control system to ensure data integrity and compliance
- Utilize standard forms and reports to document project activities and project status
- Ensure that all project information is appropriately distributed, documented, and saved
- Based within daily commuting distance of Stanton, Tennessee, United States, and able to work on-site full time
- At least 3 years of document control experience on construction or engineering projects
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or closely related technical discipline, or clearly equivalent document control experience
- Hands-on experience using Autodesk Docs or a comparable construction/engineering document management system
- Experience creating and maintaining document tracking matrices/logs and using Microsoft Excel for tracking, reporting, and analyzing document status
- Experience training or supporting project team members in the use of document control systems
- Experience generating periodic document control status reports or dashboards for project stakeholders
- Prior experience in a client-facing role within an engineering, EPC, or construction organization
- Previous project coordination or project management responsibilities in addition to document control duties
