About The Role

Myticas Consulting is seeking a Senior Architect for a remote, full-time opportunity with a leading architecture and engineering firm that designs complex facilities for the pharmaceutical and broader industrial markets.

In this role, you will serve as the Project Discipline Lead on multiple projects, coordinating with engineers and designers to deliver technically correct, graphically complete architectural design and documentation. You’ll focus heavily on pharmaceutical and life sciences facilities, guiding multi-disciplinary teams through all project phases while meeting schedules, budgets, and quality standards. This position offers the opportunity to work on highly technical facilities that directly support critical healthcare and life sciences operations.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with project leads, architects, engineers, and designers to deliver technically accurate and graphically complete drawings, sketches, and project documents
• Provide clear direction to architectural team members and take responsibility for layout and detailing of architectural projects
• Independently coordinate multi-discipline project teams through multiple phases, proactively managing information flow among stakeholders
• Participate in code-compliance reviews with governing agencies and conduct work sessions at project sites with the Project Manager and other disciplines
• Coordinate team workload to complete documents on schedule and within budget, including preparing and updating project workplans/forecasts
• Review architectural documents for conflicts with other disciplines and manage issuance of documents for quality control
• Write and edit architectural specifications and reports; support construction administration including bulletins, RFIs, and submittal reviews
• Attend and lead project, discipline, and department meetings as required, ensuring conformance with customer and company standards and practices
  
  

Requirements

• Remote within the United States; able to work core hours aligned with the Eastern Time Zone
• 8 years of post-degree architectural experience with a significant focus on pharmaceutical or life sciences facility projects
• Bachelor of Science in Architecture or Master of Architecture degree
• Active Registered Architect license with NCARB certification or NCARB record
• Demonstrated proficiency with Revit on multi-disciplinary building design projects
• Experience in the preparation and layout of architectural contract documents and specifications for industrial or pharmaceutical facilities
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience in sustainable design solutions on architectural building projects
• LEED Accreditation (LEED AP) or progress toward accreditation
• Experience with facilities in the Consumer Goods, Food & Beverage, or Chemicals industries
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities, and demonstrated graphic presentation skills
