Job Title: Drug Manufacturing Technician/Specimen Processor (part-time)
Location: Santa Rosa, CA 95403
Duration: 06 Months with possible extension
Shift: 2nd – 12 PM to 6 PM
Note: Part-time positions. Monday and Tuesday for 6h each (12h per week).
The exact time schedule is still being determined but is close to 12pm-6pm
Responsible for proper maintenance and operation of drug manufacturing equipment.
- Accurately weigh raw materials and active ingredients and combine them into a blend.
- Keeps the equipment and facility clean and in a state of good repair.
- Participates in the completion of work orders, including batch record documentation per cGMP (current good manufacturing process).
- Accurately follows and completes documentation with minimal errors or corrections. Completes training, including cGMP and safety training in a timely manner.
- Must be able to work alone or in a team and can follow procedures exactly.
Entry-level HSD or GED equivalent required.
Screening Lab Tech I/Contingent worker
Primary Function:
This position's main function is to aliquot specimens in preparation for immunoassay testing. Timely completion of work is paramount to meet our commitment to our customers.
Core Job Responsibilities:
Assist licensed testing personnel in the performance of screening tests in accordance with laboratory policies and procedures.
Scanning bottles and checking data previously entered into the database from requisition forms.
Preparing aliquots of urine specimens for testing in a production laboratory.
Confirm labeling to determine further testing/storage
Receiving and sorting specimens
Read, understand, and follow written Standard Operating Procedures
Position Accountability / Scope
Works under supervision of supervisor and/or Screening Lab Tech Lead
Minimum Qualifications/Education - to perform this job:
A high school diploma or equivalent
The ability to work safely with biological specimens.
Minimum Experience/Training Required to perform this job.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using a computer and bar code scanner
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong verbal and written communication skills
