Job Title: Controls Engineer

Job Description:
The primary responsibility of this role is to provide technical/skilled support to EES Assembly Planning Engineering team. This includes design/drawing review, buyoff support, install/commissioning, and equipment start up support.
What you'll do:
Review equipment specs & drawings, flag improvements early
Run vendor buyoffs — confirm the equipment actually does what was promised
Install, set up, and troubleshoot ToyoPuc, Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi PLCs
Verify safety, quality, and productivity before and after launch
Dial in equipment during live vehicle trials
Train plant Maintenance teams on the new gear
What you need:
6 yrs comprehensive PLC knowledge; 4 yrs hands-on programming/troubleshooting
4 yrs electrical circuits & industrial controls
2-year technical degree (EET / Industrial Maintenance Tech), trade school, or equivalent experience
Comfortable reading mechanical & electrical drawings
Open to up to 20% travel (U.S., Canada, Mexico, Japan) and up to 20% OT
Nice to have: robot programming/teaching, AGV/AMR setup, safety scanners, EtherNet/IP · FL-net · PROFINET, automotive plant experience, OSHA 10
