Senior Accountant
This position sits within a fast-paced, high growth PE backed healthcare portfolio company that is committed to establishing modern processes, scalable systems, and a culture of continuous improvement.
The Senior Accountant position offers broad exposure across multiple accounting functions, providing opportunities to leverage your expertise, contribute to our ongoing success, and grow within a collaborative team. You will rotate through areas such as revenue, payroll, fixed assets, leases, treasury, and consolidations, working closely with experienced directors and managers. Work environment: Hybrid 3 days in the office, 2 days from home
Key Responsibilities
- Manage month-end close activities across multiple accounting areas, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to deadlines.
- Contribute to special initiatives, including process improvements, system enhancements, and scalability-focused projects.
- Prepare and review account reconciliations, and conduct variance analysis to support accurate financial reporting and insights.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes and improve overall operational effectiveness.
- Evaluate existing policies, procedures, and internal controls, and recommend practical enhancements.
- Demonstrate flexibility in a dynamic environment while fostering a positive and team-oriented culture.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 4 years of experience in a complex, multi-entity environment (healthcare experience not required).
- Strong technical accounting expertise, with an emphasis on process improvement and scalability.
- Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and corporate accounting standards.
- Experience with accounting and financial systems, including process design and optimization.
- Proficiency in preparing and maintaining accounting workpapers and documentation.
- Demonstrated success working in collaborative, high-energy, and fast-paced environments.
