As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a vital role in assisting physicians with the diagnosis of diseases and injuries. Under the guidance of our Imaging Services Director and Chief of Diagnostic Imaging, you will operate advanced radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images that aid in patient diagnosis.What You'll Do:In this dynamic role, you will:Perform specialized and routine diagnostic radiology procedures.Provide compassionate care by explaining procedures to patients, helping to ease their anxieties.Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.Adjust immobilization devices to capture optimal views as requested by physicians.Determine exposure factors based on patient specifics to ensure accurate imaging.Operate mobile radiologic equipment in various settings, including operating rooms and emergency rooms.Assist radiologists during fluoroscopic and special x-ray examinations.Process and prepare images for review by radiologists or requesting physicians.Maintain and troubleshoot radiologic equipment, ensuring it operates at peak performance.Practice radiation protection techniques to safeguard patients and staff.Train and orient new hires and students, sharing your expertise with the next generation.Step in as needed in the absence of the Supervising Radiology Technologist.Perform other related duties as necessary.What We’re Looking For:To thrive in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:Experience: A minimum of five (5) years in a radiologic technologist role.Education: High School Diploma or GED.Licenses & Certifications:Radiologic Technologist Certificate (California)Certified Radiologic Technologist - Venipuncture Certificate (California)Certified Radiologic Technologist - Fluoroscopy Certificate (California)Basic Life Support CertificationAdditional Requirements:California Venipuncture Certificate and Mammography Certificate (if required).Ability to perform general diagnostic and routine fluoroscopic duties across all age groups.Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients and team members.Willingness to work in a Labor Management Partnership environment.Working Conditions:This position does not have supervisory responsibilities, allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional patient care in a supportive environment.Why Join Us?We offer a range of benefits and opportunities for growth, including:Educational opportunities to help you advance your career.A collaborative work environment that values your contributions.Flexibility to balance your professional and personal life.If you’re passionate about making a difference in healthcare and meet the qualifications, we encourage you to apply and become a part of our dedicated team!
