As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be at the forefront of diagnostic imaging, working under the guidance of our Imaging Services Director and Chief of Diagnostic Imaging. Your expertise will be essential in helping physicians diagnose diseases and injuries, all while ensuring the highest quality of patient care through safe and efficient processes.What You'll Do:In this dynamic role, you will:Conduct specialized and routine diagnostic radiology procedures.Use your excellent communication skills to explain procedures to patients, easing their anxieties and ensuring cooperation.Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.Adjust immobilization devices for optimal imaging views.Determine exposure factors based on patient specifics.Operate mobile radiologic equipment in various settings, including operating and emergency rooms.Assist radiologists in fluoroscopic and special x-ray examinations.Process images for review by radiologists and maintain quality control.Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on radiologic equipment.Practice radiation protection techniques to ensure safety for patients and staff.Train new hires and students, sharing your knowledge and expertise.Fill in for the Supervising Radiology Technologist as needed.Take on other related duties as necessary.What We’re Looking For:To thrive in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:Experience: A minimum of five (5) years in the field.Education: High School Diploma or GED.Licenses and Certifications:Radiologic Technologist Certificate (California)Certified Radiologic Technologist - Venipuncture Certificate (California)Certified Radiologic Technologist - Fluoroscopy Certificate (California)Basic Life Support CertificationAdditional Requirements:California Venipuncture Certificate and Mammography Certificate (if required).Ability to perform general diagnostic and routine fluoroscopic duties across all age groups.Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients and team members.Willingness to work in a Labor Management Partnership environment.Commitment to ongoing education and professional development.Why Join Us?We offer a supportive work environment with abundant opportunities for growth and development.
