Maintenance Technician (Construction Experience Preferred)
Location: Morgantown, WV
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician with a construction background to support property and facility maintenance needs. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling a variety of repair and maintenance tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on residential and/or commercial properties
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general construction
- Complete work orders in a timely and efficient manner
- Coordinate with office staff and respond to maintenance requests
- Ensure all work is completed safely and up to quality standards
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment
- Assist with preventative maintenance to minimize future repairs
- Participate in a rotating after-hours on-call schedule
Qualifications
- Previous maintenance or construction experience required
- Strong knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
- Ability to diagnose problems and complete repairs independently
- Good communication and time management skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Must be reliable and safety-conscious
- Must pass pre employment screenings
