Role Overview:
We are seeking a Sr. Civil/Structural Design Engineer to lead the design, analysis, and execution of facility modifications within a highly regulated industrial environment. This role focuses on structural engineering, interdisciplinary collaboration, and construction support to ensure safe, compliant, and high-quality project delivery from design through completion.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead civil and structural engineering design activities for facility modifications, including static and dynamic structural analysis.
• Develop, review, and revise engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, and design packages for structural steel, foundations, concrete systems, and equipment supports.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation teams to ensure coordinated engineering designs.
• Provide field engineering support through site walkdowns, technical issue resolution, construction support, and as-built documentation updates.
• Develop procurement packages, scopes of work, and technical documentation while supporting contractor evaluations and project execution.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
• 5 years of experience in civil or structural engineering within industrial, manufacturing, energy, or regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of structural design principles, AISC, ACI, and applicable building and seismic codes.
• Experience preparing engineering calculations, design packages, and construction documentation.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a required security clearance.
