Job Overview:
We are hiring a General Laborer to support a variety of construction and fabrication projects. This role will assist with hands-on tasks including installation of granite countertops and surfaces, drywall work, and general construction support. Ideal candidates are reliable, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with installation of granite countertops and other stone surfaces
- Support fabrication processes including measuring, cutting, and prepping materials
- Perform drywall tasks including hanging, patching, and finishing
- Assist with general construction duties (framing, demolition, site prep, cleanup)
- Load/unload materials and maintain organized job sites
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Follow instructions from supervisors and work as part of a team
- Maintain safety standards on all job sites
Qualifications:
- Previous construction or skilled labor experience preferred
- Experience with granite, countertops, drywall, or fabrication is a plus
- Ability to read a tape measure and follow basic measurements
- Comfortable using hand tools and power tools
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be able to pass drug screen and background check
- Forklift certification preferred
Pay: $16.00 per hour
