Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Laborer to assist our plumbing team with excavation and ditch-digging tasks. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, safety-conscious, and ready to support daily operations on job sites. This is an entry-level position perfect for individuals looking to grow in the plumbing or construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dig trenches and ditches for plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance.
- Assist plumbers with the installation of pipes, fittings, and other materials.
- Load, unload, and transport tools, equipment, and materials to job sites.
- Maintain job site cleanliness and ensure proper disposal of debris.
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures while working on-site.
- Operate hand tools and basic equipment under supervision.
- Assist with other general labor tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Prior experience in construction, plumbing, or excavation is a plus but not required.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
