About the roleLocation: Santa Fe Springs, CAStep into a day where precision meets momentum. You’ll arrive to review the job queue, verify programs, and set up both mills and lathes for production. Blueprints and technical drawings guide your plan of attack as you load tooling, zero parts, and run first articles. Throughout the shift, you’ll monitor machine performance, fine-tune offsets, and capture in-process measurements to keep every component on spec. You’ll perform routine upkeep to keep equipment running smoothly, collaborate with teammates to streamline cycles, and document everything you run. Safety and cleanliness anchor your work from start to finish.What you’ll handleSet up and run CNC milling and turning centers to produce high-quality parts.Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications for accurate machining.Observe operations, adjust tooling/offsets, and maintain established quality standards.Conduct routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.Work with the team to refine processes and drive efficiency improvements.Keep a clean, organized, and safe work area in line with safety protocols.Record setups, production details, and results with clear, accurate documentation.What you bringHigh school diploma or equivalent; machining trade school or certification preferred.Hands-on CNC machinist experience running both mills and lathes.Working knowledge of CNC programming and G-code.Ability to interpret technical drawings/blueprints with confidence.Proficiency using precision measuring tools and related equipment.Strong problem-solving mindset with exceptional attention to detail.Comfort working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.Clear communication skills and a positive, team-first attitude.
Salary : $25 - $30
