The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will play a central role in supporting financial decision-making by delivering in-depth analysis, building models, and partnering across the business. Work Schedule: Fully In-Office (Mon-Fri)
Base Salary: $160k - $180k
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business priorities and financial targets.
- Develop and enhance financial models to evaluate performance, identify trends, and support long-term planning initiatives.
- Evaluate operating expenses, cost of goods sold, and revenue trends to provide meaningful business insights.
- Support financial oversight across multiple profit and loss statements.
- Generate and present recurring financial reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with internal teams to establish budgets, track actual results, and analyze key drivers impacting performance.
- Work closely with business leaders across the organization to support planning, performance monitoring, and strategic initiatives.
- Review financial outcomes and deliver insights and recommendations to inform leadership decisions.
- Lead efforts to automate workflows and improve processes within the FP&A function.
- Identify and implement enhancements to existing processes to improve reporting accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
- Conduct ad hoc analysis and support broader initiatives focused on improving financial and operational performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, investment banking, management consulting, or corporate finance.
- Prior experience in an FP&A Manager role with ownership of a broad range of responsibilities.
- Experience managing or supporting multiple profit and loss statements.
- Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills, with strong proficiency in Excel and reporting tools.
- Experience working with ERP systems.
- Solid business acumen with an understanding of operational and financial drivers.
- Experience working in a high-growth environment, ideally within a mid-sized company or startup.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated, with the ability to manage responsibilities independently and collaboratively.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to translate complex financial data into clear insights.
