About the Role
We are hiring for one of our clients seeking a Production Technician to support manufacturing operations within a heavy industrial production environment. This role is responsible for monitoring production equipment, maintaining material flow, assisting with equipment operation, and supporting safe, efficient plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of production and material handling equipment.
- Monitor and support material movement throughout the manufacturing process.
- Operate valves, gates, and related equipment to control production flow.
- Measure and report inventory levels in bins, tanks, and silos.
- Assist with equipment cleaning, troubleshooting, and minor repairs.
- Support maintenance teams during planned and unplanned maintenance activities.
- Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas.
- Operate authorized mobile and heavy equipment as required.
- Communicate equipment status and operational issues to supervisors and team members.
- Follow all environmental, health, and safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Ability to work in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Mechanical aptitude and basic equipment troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
- Strong communication and safety awareness.
Working Conditions
- Rotating 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Work performed indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Exposure to industrial environments including dust, noise, heights, and confined spaces.
- Position may require lifting, carrying, and other physical job duties consistent with operational requirements.
