Role Overview:
We are hiring for one of our clients.
The Application System Analyst II serves as a liaison between end users, operational leaders, technical teams, and vendors to support, configure, optimize, and maintain assigned applications. This role contributes to system improvements, project implementations, workflow optimization, and application support while ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze, design, test, implement, support, maintain, and optimize assigned applications and business processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technical and operational solutions.
- Provide application support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for medium-complexity incidents and requests.
- Assist with project planning, implementation, testing, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
- Perform workflow analysis, process mapping, requirements gathering, and gap analysis.
- Develop recommendations to improve system performance, efficiency, and user experience.
- Communicate technical concepts, system designs, and configuration requirements to stakeholders.
- Maintain strong relationships with users, operational leaders, technical teams, and vendors.
- Adhere to organizational standards for system configuration, security, and change management.
- Coordinate application updates, enhancements, and vendor-related activities.
- Collaborate with technical teams to identify and resolve infrastructure-related issues impacting applications.
- Share industry best practices and application knowledge with stakeholders.
- Support application training, knowledge transfer, and mentoring activities.
- Monitor new releases and functionality updates and evaluate their business impact.
- Escalate issues when service levels, project timelines, or vendor expectations are at risk.
- Assist with user training sessions and educational initiatives.
- Participate in projects and process improvement efforts as assigned.
- Travel and additional hours may be required based on business needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Business, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum three years of professional experience required.
- Minimum two years of experience in healthcare, business systems, or information systems environments.
- Experience supporting, configuring, and optimizing enterprise applications.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
- Ability to gather requirements, perform workflow analysis, and develop practical solutions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within team environments.
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members preferred.
- Relevant certifications related to the assigned application area are preferred.
- For Epic-focused roles, certification or proficiency in the assigned Epic module must be obtained within six months of employment and maintained through required training.
