Job Summary:
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces in accordance with Home2 Suites and Hilton brand standards. Housekeepers ensure guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and well-maintained environment that enhances their overall experience during their stay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and service guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, emptying trash, and cleaning bathrooms and kitchenettes.
- Replenish towels, toiletries, linens, and other room amenities.
- Follow detailed cleaning checklists and safety procedures.
- Inspect rooms for maintenance issues or damages and report them promptly.
- Ensure all areas meet or exceed brand cleanliness standards.
- Maintain and organize cleaning carts and supplies.
- Clean public spaces such as hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and laundry rooms as needed.
- Assist with laundry operations when required.
- Respond to guest requests courteously and efficiently.
- Follow proper procedures for lost and found items.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good time management skills and ability to meet room cleaning quotas.
- Friendly, professional demeanor when interacting with guests.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
