Job Summary
We are seeking a mature, dedicated, and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent service. MUST be available weekdays AND weekends and have a reliable means of transportation.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Conduct floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
- Manage laundry services by washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and towels.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning materials as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Uphold the highest standards of hospitality by ensuring guest satisfaction through attention to detail in housekeeping tasks.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned by management.
Experience
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred; experience in hotel or industrial cleaning environments is a plus.
- Familiarity with housekeeping management practices and protocols is beneficial.
- Strong understanding of cleaning techniques and the use of cleaning equipment.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively while performing multiple tasks.
- A commitment to maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
