Job Summary
Hillside Medical Group is seeking a reliable, organized Delivery Driver to support operations across multiple locations in San Antonio. This role is responsible for transporting laboratory specimens and delivering medical and office supplies between Hillside Medical Group clinics and designated laboratories. The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, and understands the importance of timeliness, accuracy, and confidentiality in a healthcare environment.
Schedule
Monday to Friday
3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
Pick up and transport laboratory specimens from Hillside Medical Group locations to designated laboratories
Deliver medical, clinical, and office supplies to various Hillside Medical Group locations as assigned
Follow established delivery routes and schedules
Ensure proper handling and transport of specimens and supplies in compliance with safety and biohazard regulations
Verify supply quantities and accompanying documentation prior to transport
Maintain accurate delivery logs and required documentation
Communicate promptly with clinic staff and supervisors regarding delays, issues, or discrepancies
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle
Follow all company policies, HIPAA guidelines, and traffic laws
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record
Strong time management and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and follow assigned schedules
Professional demeanor and high level of reliability
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
Familiarity with San Antonio routes preferred
Previous delivery, courier, or healthcare-related driving experience is a plus (not required)
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit for extended periods while driving
Ability to lift, carry, bend, and reach as needed
Work Environment
Travel between multiple clinic and laboratory locations
Potential exposure to biohazard materials (training and appropriate safety equipment provided)
