Women’s Wellness Medical Assistant (Full-Time) | Hillside Medical Group
Hillside Medical Group is seeking a Women’s Wellness Medical Assistant to join our growing team! This role supports our Women’s Wellness services and requires a strong focus on patient experience, clinical support, and teamwork.
Schedule
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Current Medical Assistant certification required
1 to 3 years of clinical experience in a medical office, clinic, or hospital setting preferred (especially in Women's Wellness setting)
Strong knowledge of medical terminology
Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent patient care
Strong communication and customer service skills
Follows all HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines
Willingness to be cross-trained to support front office as needed
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Job Functions
Room patients and document in the EMR (vitals, medications, medical history, chief complaint)
Obtain and record vital signs and patient screenings
Perform EKGs as ordered by the provider
Prepare and administer medications as directed (IM and/or PO, per scope and training)
Assist providers with Women’s Wellness exams and procedures (as trained), including setting up rooms and chaperoning as appropriate
Prepare rooms, stock supplies, and maintain cleanliness per infection-control standards
Support patient check-in/check-out as needed, including collecting copays/deductibles/coinsurance
Complete other duties as assigned by the Office Manager
