Wellness Director (RN/LPN)
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced nurse leader to join our community and promote the health, wellbeing, and quality of life of our residents. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through both hands-on care and team leadership in a supportive living environment.
About the Role
As the Wellness Director of Nursing (RN or LPN), you will oversee the nursing department and ensure the highest standards of care are consistently delivered. You will play a key leadership role in supporting your team, collaborating with interdisciplinary partners, and maintaining a positive, resident-centered culture within the community.
Minimum Qualifications
- Active RN or LPN license
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience
- At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in supportive living, assisted living, or long-term care
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the nursing department
- Ensure delivery of high-quality, resident-centered care
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to nursing staff
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
- Support regulatory compliance and community standards
