What You'll Be Doing
- Operate various types of heavy equipment including loaders, haul trucks, drillers and scalers
- Perform general labor tasks to support plant and quarry operations
- Assist with routine maintenance and inspections of equipment and facilities
- Monitor material flow and ensure safe, efficient production
- Adapt to changing tasks and priorities throughout the workday
- Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy equipment
- Strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- Flexibility to perform a variety of tasks across quarry operations
- Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level
- $27.33 per hour plus an additional $0.50/hr underground rate
