Requirements
The Retail Pharmacy Technician supports our pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care. In this role, you will assist in the preparation, packaging, labeling, and delivery of medications, as well as ensure the safe storage of drugs and devices. This position operates under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist and in accordance with Colorado state law.
Key Responsibilities
The position could be based from either Salida or Westcliffe but require paid travel to the location that is different from their standard reporting location.
You will be eligible for an 8% pay differential.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in preparing, mixing, assembling, and packaging medications.
- Ensure accurate labeling and proper documentation of all drugs and devices.
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy storage and safety regulations.
- Organize and update records to ensure proper tracking of medications.
- Support daily operations to improve efficiency and patient care.

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
- Prior retail or hospital outpatient pharmacy technician experience is preferred.
- Previous customer service experience is required.
- Certification with the national Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) preferred and/or completion required within 1 year of hire.
