- Perform High-Quality Imaging: Conduct a full range of routine and advanced MRI exams, ensuring image quality, patient comfort, and adherence to protocols. Assess and support patients experiencing anxiety, claustrophobia, or other concerns.
- Clinical Correlation & Documentation: Corroborate patient clinical history with imaging procedures. Ensure complete and timely documentation for interpretation by licensed practitioners.
- Daily Operations & Workflow Coordination: Oversee daily MRI workflow and technologist assignments to optimize staff utilization and equipment use. Provide guidance and support to MRI technologists.
- Technical Support & Quality Assurance: Serve as the primary resource for MRI-related inquiries. Troubleshoot equipment or procedural issues. Conduct regular quality assurance activities, including image review and QC logging.
- Safety & Compliance: Screen all individuals for MRI safety contraindications. Enforce MRI safety protocols to ensure the safety of patients, staff, and visitors. Identify and mitigate risks.
- Data Management & Post-Processing: Perform data post-processing, ensure accurate archival storage, and verify secure documentation of all studies.

Summary
Qualifications:
EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
- Must have graduated from an approved ARRT or ARMRIT program; and one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be Magnetic Resonance Safety Officer (MRSO) certified or certified within one year.
- Current Registration by the ARRT (R)(MR).
- Current CPR certification.
