Position Overview
- Job Opportunity: Facilities Maintenance Technician
What You'll Do
- Maintain & Repair: From machinery and electrical systems to plumbing and physical structures, you’ll be the expert keeping our healthcare facility in top shape.
- Construction Projects: Play a key role in construction and renovation projects, ensuring everything meets healthcare facility standards.
- Adhere to Standards: Work in compliance with the Joint Commission’s Environment of Care standards, ensuring safety and operational excellence.
- Security & Safety: Collaborate with the HRRMC Security Supervisor to maintain a 24/7 culture of safety and security for staff, patients, and visitors.
- Meaningful Work: You’ll be a key player in keeping our healthcare environment running smoothly and safely.
- Team Collaboration: Work alongside dedicated professionals in maintenance and security to ensure the best for our community.

Requirements
Certificates, Licenses, & Registrations:
- Current and valid Colorado driver’s license and insurance ID card in good standing.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or must obtain within 30 days of hire).
- TEAMS de-escalation training required within 90 days of hire.
- A minimum of twelve months of related experience and/or training.
- Proficient in all regulatory compliances i.e., UBC, Plumbing, NFPA, OSHA, JCAHO, and etc., and effectively maintain facility buildings and equipment under compliance and/or mandates using corrective and preventative maintenance practices.
- Proficient in electrical systems, wiring, and conduit to install, repair and maintain electrical systems in relations with HVAC, boiler systems and all types of heating/cooling distribution systems and be proficient in both application of testing and calibration equipment.
- Proficient in plumbing and plumbing systems to install, repair and maintain plumbing systems and steam/hot water distribution systems.
- Proficient in sterilizers, sterilizing cleaning equipment, steam distribution systems hydraulic, pneumatic and computer-controlled systems related to the above systems and related components. Also must be proficient in closed loop heating/cooling systems and related components.
