Overview

Registered Nurse – ER travel assignment in Lexington, NE, starting 05/26/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: 2,172–2,320 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 3x12 Nights. Setting: long-term care nursing home with an ER component and a 25-bed critical access facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide ED nursing care in a small, critical access ER setting; triage, assess, monitor, and treat patients as assigned
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and interventions per physician orders; monitor responses and document in the patient chart
• Collaborate with the charge RN, participate in patient care planning, and maintain safety and quality standards
• Manage charting in Cerner; ensure accurate, timely documentation of assessments, treatments, and outcomes
• Flex between Emergency Department and Med/Surg duties as needed to support a multifaceted small facility
• Assume Charge RN responsibilities as required to coordinate and oversee nursing care during shifts
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with hospital-based teams as appropriate
  
  

Requirements

• Active RN license in Nebraska
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA/ARC), ACLS (AHA/ARC), PALS (AHA/ARC or ENPC)
• Preferred but not required certifications: TNCC, NIHSS, CPI, NRP, SANE
• Prior travel nursing experience is required
• Ability to work a 3x12 Night shift and perform duties across ED and Med/Surg
• Comfortable functioning as Charge RN when assigned
• Orientation will be held on Tuesdays; charting in Cerner
