Responsibilities

• Perform pediatric and adult echocardiography, including transthoracic, 3D echo, TEE, bubble studies, pharmacologic and treadmill stress echoes
• Acquire and optimize images, prepare studies for interpretation, and document findings in the charting system; support physicians during procedures
• Operate GE ultrasound systems and maintain imaging quality; adhere to safety, infection control, and patient comfort protocols
• Utilize PACS/EPIC for image storage, retrieval, and reporting; ensure accurate, timely documentation
• Collaborate with the cardiology team on pediatric and structural heart imaging; participate in procedures requiring echocardiographic imaging
  
  

Requirements

• Certifications: BLS; Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS); RDMS-Peds
• Experience: Pediatric echo and structural heart experience required; minimum 3 years preferred
• Population: Ability to image both adults and pediatric patients (including neonates/infants/adolescents)
• Charting/Systems: Epic required; PACS experience
• Licensing: Take it from Job Notes; must reside at least 100 miles from the facility (traveler location rule)
• On-call: Required as needed
