Overview

MRI Technologist – Radiology (MRI) travel assignment in Kansas City, Kansas. Start date: 04/26/2026 for a 13-week contract. Weekly pay: $2,363 to $2,555 per week. No guaranteed hours. Shift: 12-hour nights (3x12). Setting: hospital. This is a travel position with assignment-specific orientation and onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI exams using specified MRI systems, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images
• Prepare patients, position them properly, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
• Follow MRI safety protocols, screen for implants or contraindications, and monitor during scans
• Operate and adjust MRI sequences and protocols to meet physician orders
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure images are properly routed to the PACS and associated systems
• Collaborate with technologists, radiologists, and support staff to optimize workflow and patient care
  
  

Requirements

• Active certification: ARMRIT or ARRT (MR) with BLS
• 1–2 years MRI technologist experience in a hospital setting
• Minimum 1 year of travel MRI experience
• Experience with Phillips Achieva (and/or Siemens 1.5T Sola) systems
• Familiarity with Cerner, Unity PACS, and Inteview PACS
• Ability to work in a hospital environment and adapt to a 12-hour night shift
