A global consumer technology platform operating at massive scale is seeking a VP of Software Development to lead a multi-hundred-person engineering organization. This is a highly visible, executive-facing role responsible for driving product innovation, platform evolution, and AI integration across core consumer and fintech offerings.

Scope & Responsibilities
- Lead and scale a global engineering organization of 300 across multiple regions
- Own delivery across customer-facing applications (web and mobile) and backend/platform systems
- Drive modernization of distributed, real-time systems handling high-throughput data
- Oversee integration of newly acquired products into a unified platform ecosystem
- Partner closely with executive leadership to align engineering strategy with business growth
- Champion the adoption of AI and LLM-driven capabilities across products and internal workflows
- Establish and evolve engineering best practices, architecture standards, and operating models
What You Bring
- 10 years of experience in software engineering, with significant time in senior leadership roles
- Proven track record leading large-scale, distributed engineering teams in complex environments
- Experience building and scaling real-time, high-throughput systems and consumer-facing platforms
- Background in fintech, payments, or regulated financial systems strongly preferred
- Demonstrated success driving platform modernization, cloud adoption, and system migration
- Exposure to AI/ML or LLM-driven product or engineering initiatives
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive change
