We're looking for an accomplished VP, Software Development to lead a globally distributed engineering team of 300 engineers within a consumer technology leader operating a portfolio of well-known financial and digital services brands.

The Role
- Own and scale customer-facing applications across web and mobile platforms
- Lead integration of newly acquired products into the broader platform ecosystem
- Drive growth initiatives across multiple product lines, including fintech offerings
- Champion AI adoption across engineering teams and product experiences
- Oversee deployment of AI-powered features already in production
- Identify and unlock productivity gains through AI and automation
- Explore new revenue and product opportunities leveraging LLMs and emerging technologies
- Operate as a highly visible leader, partnering closely with C-suite to drive transformation
Ideally you will have:
- Strong experience in FinTech, Financial Wellness or Consumer Facing Apps & Platforms (on a global scale)
- A background in building and scaling large-scale, real-time, customer-facing (B2C) systems
- Comfortable working across modern tech stacks (e.g., Java, React, Scala or similar)
- Experience with platform evolution or tech stack migrations (a plus)
- Experience as a technically credible leader able to challenge decisions and guide engineering direction in a globally distributed team
- A passion for driving impact and leading change in complex organizations
- Confidence operating in a highly visible, executive-facing role.
