What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Supervisor position at Hancock County Health System?
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Clinic Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the clinic and provides leadership and support to all clinical and nursing staff delivering patient care. Responsibilities include recruitment and onboarding of new employees, staff scheduling and coverage, performance evaluations, addressing disciplinary issues, and developing, revising, and implementing clinical policies and procedures. The role ensures the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care. In addition, the Clinic Supervisor performs all functions of a clinic nurse during designated hours and provides coverage as needed.
HOURS:
Full time, 80 hours per pay period, primary location Britt Medical Clinic.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing must be currently licensed as an RN in the State of Iowa. Must be able to communicate well with patients and staff employees. Clinical supervisory experience preferred. Must be able to travel to all four clinics as requested.
