What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinic Patient Access Supervisor position at Hancock County Health System?
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Clinic Patient Access Supervisor oversees daily operations for admitting and registration functions within the clinic. This role provides leadership and support to all non-clinical staff and is responsible for recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, coverage, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions. The supervisor also develops, updates, and implements registration and scheduling policies and procedures. In addition to supervisory duties, this position regularly performs registration and scheduling tasks and provides coverage as needed.
HOURS:
Full time, 80 hours per pay period, position requires flexibility to work at both Britt and Garner Medical Clinics.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Supervisory experience for a minimum of one year. Supervisory training/classes and clinic knowledge preferred. Must be able to communicate well with patients, staff, and employees. Must be a problem solver and able to multi-task.
