What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacist position at Hancock County Health System?
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Pharmacist is responsible for overseeing daily operations of all pharmaceutical care services provided to Hancock County Health System patients. This position will supervise pharmacy support personnel, assure quality pharmaceutical care, inventory control and regulatory guideline compliance, leading to positive patient outcomes. The duties of this role cannot be rigidly defined but are the commonly expected duties in accordance with the state and federal law.
HOURS:
Full-time, Exempt position.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Completion of the requirements for a B.S. or Pharm. D. in Pharmacy at an accredited college of pharmacy is required. Iowa pharmacist license, either by examination or reciprocity, is required. Hospital experience is preferred. Must have excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills. Must have good computer skills.
