Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing floors using appropriate floor care techniques.
• Handle laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing.
• Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and high-touch surfaces regularly.
• Manage outdoor work such as sweeping entryways, cleaning patios or decks, and maintaining outdoor furniture when necessary.
• Conduct janitorial duties like trash removal, replenishing supplies, and ensuring all areas are tidy and well-stocked.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively while adhering to manual handling protocols for heavy lifting or moving furniture.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing residents’ or guests’ needs promptly and professionally while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
• Assist with housekeeping management tasks such as scheduling cleaning routines or coordinating team efforts when applicable.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential cleaning, hotel housekeeping, custodial work, or commercial cleaning environments.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, sanitation procedures, and floor care methods.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and outdoor work requirements.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout your shift.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude toward residents or guests.
• Experience with laundry operations and janitorial equipment is preferred.
• Previous housekeeping management experience is a plus but not required.
