Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, hallways, and public spaces using industry-standard techniques and equipment
- Care for floors by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to ensure they are spotless and well-maintained
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, towels, and amenities to ensure guest satisfaction
- Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms by disinfecting fixtures, mirrors, sinks, tubs, and toilets according to health standards
- Follow safety procedures during cleaning tasks and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold quality standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning or custodial roles within hospitality or industrial settings is preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, buffing, and polishing surfaces
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience highly desirable for understanding guest service expectations
- Familiarity with janitorial equipment and cleaning supplies to perform tasks effectively and safely
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions comfortably
