Residence Inn Downtown Corpus Christi is looking for a Hotel Housekeeper to be our Cleanliness Ambassador and heighten our guest's experience while on property. We’re looking for a friendly individual who genuinely enjoys creating a nice, clean environment for our guests to enjoy and who can engage guests and manage multiple tasks at once. The ideal candidate will have previous housekeeping service experience and will understand the importance of responding quickly to guests’ needs and complaints. If you’ve worked in the hospitality industry before, we definitely want to talk to you. However, we’re willing to train the right applicant.

Hotel Housekeeper responsibilities:

• Perform excellent housekeeping services to ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and tidiness in all guest rooms, public areas, and other areas assigned by the Executive Housekeeper and General Manager.
• Perform and execute daily cleaning tasks as assigned (rooms, bathrooms, corridor areas, and public areas) while working alongside our hotel staff to ensure guest needs and brand standards are met.
• Follow the schedule of tasks to be completed on a daily basis due to hotel needs set by Housekeeping Manager and GM.
• Perform proper housekeeping functions and techniques with quality, efficiency and safety in mind.
• Attend staff training sessions and meetings as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by the hotel management team.

Hotel Housekeeper qualifications:

• Personal maturity, sound judgment, motivation, and integrity.
• Desire and willingness to work as a team within Housekeeping and other departments.
• Able to operate housekeeping equipment.
• Able to safely handle and use cleaning chemicals.
• Strong communication skills.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Available to work weekdays, weekends, and some holidays

Pay: From $11.00 per hour
