Job Summary:
As the General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall success of the hotel. This includes managing daily operations, delivering outstanding guest service, maximizing profitability, and developing a high-performing team. You will serve as the face of the hotel, ensuring that every guest leaves with a positive experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage (if applicable)
- Lead and motivate a team of department heads and staff to achieve performance goals
- Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional guest service
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance with brand standards
- Drive revenue and profitability through effective pricing, forecasting, and sales initiatives
- Manage budgets, financial reporting, and cost control
- Recruit, train, and develop staff to maintain a positive and productive work environment
- Serve as primary liaison with ownership and Hilton brand representatives
Qualifications:
- 3 years of hotel management experience required; prior Hilton or select-service brand experience preferred
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage budgets and deliver financial results
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of hospitality software systems (e.g., OnQ, Opera, etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
