Position Summary:
Manages the staff, workflow and business process for the Guardian Operations teams, including Team Managers, Supervisors, Project Managers, Technicians and Admin. Guardian Operations Teams to include the following departments: Installation, Service, Data Entry and Tech Support.
Pay:
- $115,000-$130,000 annually bonus eligible
Work Location:
- This position requires regular travel between Guardian Security's branch offices in SODO Seattle, Tacoma, Bellingham, and Yakima.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Executive & Strategic Leadership- 35%
- Oversee day-to-day company operations across all branches.
- Develop and implement plans to centralize Operations teams.
- Partner with other departments to align goals, maximize efficiency and deliver a superior customer experience.
- Ensures that Guardian Security performs professional, timely and quality work with a complete understanding of company policy, standards and metrics.
Operational Oversight & Performance Management- 20%
- Recurring visits to branch Operations to ensure consistent processes are being followed.
- Reviews monthly metrics to evaluate individual and team performance.
- Visits sites to ensure quality, code compliance and work completion.
- Ensures all relevant code changes are adopted internally.
- Ensures timely and accurate billing.
- Lead regularly scheduled team meetings.
- Manages internal Tech Support and Data Entry departments.
People Management & Development- 20%
- Interview, hire, train, and mentor new employees.
- Recruits and hires new Operations team members.
- Develops effective performance measures and motivates employees to achieve and exceed objectives across all branches.
- Work with department managers to build career roadmaps for employees to generate the next leaders.
Vendor & Customer Relations- 20%
- Manage and develop Subcontractor relationships along with the lead of the Vendor Management program.
- Meets with customers to build relationships and assists in resolving customer issues.
Additional Cross Department Projects- 5%
- Support and contribute to special initiatives and collaborative projects across departments, as assigned by leadership

Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
- At least 7 year of management experience, within the alarm industry, preferably field experience as well.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Certificates, Licenses, or Registrations:
- Current NICET 2 Fire Alarm & Sprinkler certificates preferred

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position directly supervises the Guardian Operations teams which include Install, Service, Tech Support and Data Entry across all branches. The employee must carry out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, core values and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; monitoring performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; and addressing complaints and resolving problems. People leaders are required to gatekeep access to confidential information, including but not limited to SharePoint access, passwords, email groupings, and any other secure documents.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of:
- Intermediate to advanced MS Office Suite skills, particularly with Outlook, Word, Excel.
- Knowledge of, or experience with, scheduling software.
