Position Summary:
We are looking for a motivated Senior Fire Technician to work in our Fire Alarm, Security, Service, and Confidence Testing Divisions. Individuals who enjoy working with their hands and are computer literate with an attention to detail will be successful. The Senior Fire Technician is responsible for the installation of fire systems.
Schedule: Frequent visits to job sites; schedule may shift depending on customer availability.
Work Setting: Onsite
Pay: $50 per hour, depending on experience

Job Responsibilities:
- Independently manage service and installation jobs from start to finish, demonstrating strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Lead fire alarm installations, directing technicians and assigning roles to ensure quality, efficiency, and on‑time completion.
- Coach, mentor, and train technicians at all skill levels through hands‑on and classroom instruction.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by communicating work completed, training customers on installed systems, and identifying additional service opportunities.
- Collaborate with management to identify process improvements and support continuous operational excellence.
- Review schedules, self‑dispatch to job sites, travel as needed, and arrive prepared and on time.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including CRM (Sedona) notes and required paperwork.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with Project Managers, Administrative staff, and Sales teams.
- Participate in the on‑call rotation and work with leadership on ongoing career development.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Two to four years of alarm installation experience.
- Valid driver’s license (MVR will be run as part of the offer process)
Certificates, Licenses, or Registrations:
Guardian provides a training program and compensation structure that rewards positive work experience and achieving industry certifications and licenses.
- Valid Electrical 06 license or out of state equivalent
- NICET-FA II Certification
