What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supply Chain Category Manager position at GTA (Global Technology Associates)?
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a comprehensive review of current Coupa processes across:
- Supplier onboarding, RFP management, Contract lifecycle, Risk modules
- Identify system gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation and simplification.
- Benchmark current usage against best practices and industry standards.
- Design and implement optimized workflows to improve usability, compliance, and process efficiency.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Legal, Risk, and IT teams to align system enhancements with business needs.
- Configure and test Coupa modules to support new processes and enhancements.
- Develop and deliver user-focused training and materials.
- Drive user adoption and support change management efforts.
- Maintain documentation related to process changes, configurations, and training.
- Track, analyze, and report on KPIs related to procurement and Coupa usage.
- Maintain a continuous feedback loop with end users to refine system setup and performance.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience implementing, configuring, and optimizing Coupa (supplier onboarding, sourcing, contracts, risk).
- Strong understanding of end-to-end procurement and sourcing processes.
- Experience with process mapping, change management, and training delivery.
- Excellent verbal/written communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Strong analytical and continuous improvement mindset.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related field required.
- Coupa certifications or formal Coupa training highly preferred.
Minimum Requirements
- 5 years of experience within Supply Chain and/or IT support roles.
- Experience in procurement transformation initiatives.
- Familiarity with compliance and risk frameworks for supplier management.
- Experience in process-driven roles such as procurement operations, sourcing systems management, IT, or consulting preferred.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
