What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager position at GTA (Global Technology Associates)?
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage assigned projects end-to-end, including contracting, RF design, equipment procurement, permitting, construction, optimization, site acquisition, and handoff to operations.
- Oversee cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure timely project completion and budget compliance.
- Develop, monitor, and adjust project plans and budgets as needed, ensuring accurate financial tracking and reporting.
- Conduct internal and external deployment meetings to review project status and address potential risks proactively.
- Attend client meetings to present comprehensive project updates, resolve conflicts, and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Ensure all project documentation and close-out materials are accurate, complete, and distributed in compliance with both company and customer standards.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate project data within internal tracking systems.
- Proactively identify and communicate risks that could impact project timelines or costs to the District Manager/Program Manager and clients.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent work experience) required.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- PMP Certification (Project Management Professional) preferred.
Experience Requirements
- 3–5 years of project management experience in wireless/telecommunications or a related industry.
- Proven experience managing project budgets and financial reporting.
- Strong background in client-facing project management with measurable results in delivery and stakeholder management.
Technical & Professional Skills
- Advanced understanding of telecommunications/wireless project management, asset management, and tower or site maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of Public and Private Right-of-Way (ROW) project deployment, regulatory compliance, and permitting processes.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, civil/structural designs, and plant construction documentation.
- Proficiency in identifying workflow inefficiencies, critical path management, and corrective action planning.
- Financial literacy in reading and interpreting project budgets, cost projections, and performance metrics.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with a customer-centric mindset.
- Familiarity with construction services such as Telco, power, fiber, vendor coordination, and antenna installations.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
