Job Title: Repair Technician II
Location: Onsite – Allen, TX
Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Contract: 60 days (extension possible up to 2 years)
Overview
Seeking an experienced Repair Technician II to perform component-level electronic repairs in a manufacturing repair environment. This role requires strong soldering skills, schematic interpretation, and IPC certification.
Responsibilities
- Perform component-level repair on PCBAs and subassemblies
- Execute advanced soldering and rework (SMD, BGA, micro-soldering)
- Troubleshoot digital electronics and low-power signals
- Read and interpret schematics and engineering documentation
- Document repairs and defect resolutions in internal systems
- Follow ESD and manufacturing safety standards
Requirements
- 2 years recent experience in electronic component-level repair
- Strong soldering and rework experience in production environments
- IPC certification (J-STD-001 or IPC-7711/7721) required
- Experience working with digital electronics and PCB assemblie
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate degree in electronics or related field preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
