What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Coordinator position at GTA (Global Technology Associates)?
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions for internal customers within the market.
- Facilitate invoice approvals and process them through appropriate systems.
- Update tracking systems daily, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
- Analyze project data using Power BI and internal Excel templates.
- Develop and maintain organized and complete files for projects and programs, monitoring for data integrity.
- Attend project meetings to anticipate upcoming needs and support ongoing tasks.
- Identify and communicate potential project cost changes and assist with forecast adjustments.
- Manage and maintain the repository of project documents for accuracy and accessibility.
- Communicate issues to management promptly before they reach critical status.
- Support vendor management activities where applicable.
Education & Certifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree or equivalent (2 years of relevant work experience) preferred.
Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in operational coordination or project support, including purchase order management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite — particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience with Power BI and Smartsheet preferred.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
