What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Manager - Small Cell Construction position at GTA (Global Technology Associates)?
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate design and construction vendors for small cell projects.
- Review small cell construction AE (Architectural & Engineering) designs.
- Create small cell construction BOMs (Bill of Materials) and material orders.
- Obtain vendor material quotes and provide pricing comparisons to management.
- Prepare and submit purchase orders; accurately review and process contractor invoices.
- Support project financials and milestone tracking including forecasting, issuing/receiving vendor POs, invoicing on customer POs, and resolving past-due invoices.
- Track project deliverable dates, monitor deadlines, and provide timely status reports.
- Communicate project risks and issues to management prior to escalation.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams regarding small cell construction scope and progress.
- Support service delivery requirements for small cell close-out packages.
- Provide administrative and ad hoc reporting support as required.
Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in small cell / wireless construction (MUST be small cell focused; not OSP fiber-only experience).
- Strong understanding of Small Cell Node (SCN) design and construction project management.
- Familiarity with ROW (Right-of-Way) small cell node deployments.
- Ability to read and understand PIM/Sweep testing.
- Demonstrated experience with billing processes, purchase orders, and invoice reconciliation.
- Proficient in tracking project schedules, deliverables, and milestones.
- Strong communication, reporting, and vendor management skills.
Education & Certifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver’s license required.

Pay: $33.00 - $43.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
