Service Advisor

About the Opportunity
Classic Autopark is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Service Advisor to join our growing service department. As a key member of our team, you will be the primary point of contact for customers throughout their service experience. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, and dedicated to delivering exceptional customer care while helping drivers keep their vehicles safe and reliable.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, creating a positive and welcoming service experience.
- Schedule service appointments and collect relevant vehicle and customer information.
- Prepare accurate estimates for labor and parts, clearly explaining repair needs and timelines.
- Communicate with customers throughout the repair process, including updates on changes to estimates or completion times.
- Ensure proper authorization is obtained before performing additional work.
- Monitor repair progress and follow up to ensure timely, efficient service completion.
- Maintain CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) scores that meet dealership and manufacturer expectations.
- Educate customers on recommended maintenance and vehicle care using manufacturer-approved menus.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA and hazardous waste guidelines.
- Follow dealership safety policies and immediately report any accidents or incidents.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in automotive service/sales preferred.
- Professional appearance and strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to understand technical information and communicate it clearly to customers.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, MVR, drug screening, and verification of eligibility to work in the U.S.
