We’re looking for a Marine Parts Specialist who is friendly, motivated, and ready to deliver an exceptional experience to our walk-in customers, service technicians, and phone-in clients. If you take pride in offering the right part, the right solution, and the right attitude — you’ll fit right in.
What You’ll DoBe the Go-To Parts Expert
- Greet and assist customers looking for parts and accessories — helping them find exactly what they need (and suggesting helpful add-ons they’ll appreciate).
- Offer fast, accurate support for phone inquiries, price quotes, and product questions.
- Provide the same outstanding service to internal departments as you do to our customers.
Keep the Parts Department Running Smoothly
- Pull, prepare, and organize parts for retail sales, repair orders, deliveries, and daily shipments.
- Place special orders when needed and keep customers and technicians informed when parts arrive.
- Maintain clean, organized front and rear counters that make shopping easy and enjoyable.
- Replenish inventory daily and alert the Parts Manager to any issues.
Support Our Service Team
- Help technicians find the correct parts for repairs in progress.
- Open and maintain repair order envelopes, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
- Track requisitions, verify charges, and monitor back orders to keep repairs moving smoothly.
Stay Organized & Detail-Oriented
- Process returns and credits with precision and professionalism.
- Follow all guidelines for tax-exempt purchases, chargebacks, and account tracking.
- Participate in product training, stay up to date on new items, and help track lost sales.
- Always follow—and promote—our safety policies.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year of experience in a marine parts department (required).
- 1 year of experience in sales.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to handle multiple customers at once with professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings (background check, MVR, drug test).
- Willingness to wear a dealership uniform and represent Gregg Orr Marine professionally.
- Must be authorized to work in the USA.
