Job Description:
- Assign and check PM completion and track completion rates.
- Manage and direct the daily activities of Mechanics and Parts Clerk.
- Ensure all safety standards, policies, and procedures are followed.
- Schedule maintenance employees according to workloads, vacations, etc.
- Review the operation of plant equipment and systems constantly to minimize unplanned downtime.
- Anticipate and solve problems promptly, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Responsible for food safety where applicable.
- Works with the maintenance team to adhere to budget costs.
- Creates department procedures and facilitates training.
- 5 years of maintenance experience required.
- 4 years of supervisory experience required.
- Programmable Logistics Controller (PLC) training required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Good leadership skills required.
- Good oral and written communication skills required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing problems.
- Must be able to work the hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
