About The Role
The Maintenance Mechanic is a skilled worker in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining company equipment such as conveyers, shredders and other plant maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, inspect and repair all parts of equipment, mechanical, and electrical systems on equipment such as shredders, conveyers, some heavy equipment.
- Troubleshoot and perform failure analysis of component parts and systems on building plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, and pump rebuilding and repair on facility as needed.
- Welding and fabricating to repair and build and secondary equipment.
- Replacing lighting receptacles/bulbs, fans, some minor plumbing upon occasion.
- Complete equipment maintenance records.
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 3 years' of verifiable maintenance experience or minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience in plant industrial maintenance including heavy equipment such as front-end loaders, excavators
- Valid Drivers License, CDL a plus
- Ability to demonstrate how your actions support Reworld Values and Behaviors, including Safe and Inclusive Workplace, Delivering Results through Trust and Building Breakthrough Capabilities.
- Must be able to read precision instruments, such as micrometers, dial indicators, digital multi-meters, and other electronic diagnostic tools.
- Previous experience with maintenance on industrial equipment and industrial maintenance such as shredders, conveyors, forklifts, etc
- Frequently exposed to outside weather conditions
- Frequently required to stand, sit, climb, kneel, crouch, crawl, and reach
- Climbing ladders and structures; must be able to tolerate heights.
